Hello all,

My name is Hector Fernandez, I am an HND cybersecurity student at Edinburgh College. This is my second year  studying and learning cybersecurity, or as I normally explain to the people who ask what I am studying: "hacker stuff"🤣. I didn't have any background in IT prior I started my studies in 2020, which means I am still quite a noob. So this is an opportunity to record the most interesting and important stuff that I am learning, and who knows, maybe it can be useful for someone somewhere out there.

As a beginner's blog, it can be seen as my journey's diary on my path to become a cybersecurity expert.

 
The topics that I am more interested in are: Ethical hacking and Data security. So probably you are going to find more of these. Likewise, I am very interested in everything related with the disinformation online. So, it is possible that apart from topics related directly with my studies, a few entrances of how crazy conspiracy theories 😱 and fake news are spread online will be found.
